Most fuchsias are now quite a while in their winter quarters, but some have flowered yet so beautiful and I wanted to not give. The gamble paid off, the first freezing temperatures have weathered well the fuchsias. They are all protected close to the wall or covered in November and now I can enjoy myself still in flower. I think as long as I had never fuchsias are out there. Let's see how long the mild November weather yet.
And because in this year was no pure fuchsias post, here is my "last Mohicans" are - I call it like a joke. :-)
The Fuchsia 'Devonshire Dumpling' I really like. Unfortunately, the phylum recently turned over in the wind and some branches are broken off. But still, it draws attention to itself.
fuchsia variety to the table. Most are new arrivals in the spring. They are therefore a bit warmer winters, but they are all quite well lignified, so hope that I can that they will survive the cold season well.
The two "Master Gardener Bonstedt - fuchsias are now no longer on the Grill, but covered. They still look good, although has now used the natural leaf fall. I will then, after cutting back do not have to remove many leaves. The two fuchsias this year were particularly beautiful. They stood in full sun, and neither the heat nor the cold and wet period August have harmed them. Very amazing!
The color combination of 'Fey' and 'Hidcote Beauty' I always find very interesting and attractive. Meanwhile, they depend, however, no longer at the Harrow in the open. That was me then too risky. They bloom now still on the table.
The flowers of 'Fey'.
'Heri Blauwe winds'
'Maxima' has beautiful, dark flowers and is for me a very delicate fuchsia.
'Schnedl's Pupperl'
'Amethyst'
A fuchsia with a rather unusual and small flowers is 'Fuji San' . It has developed very well in the summer. I'm curious how or if they survive the winter with me is.
Finally 'Nicis Findling', one of my favorites. Here we see that fuchsias can adorn herself beautiful in the fall. :-) From fuchsia berries by the way you can make jam. I've read recipes, do not know if the jam tastes really, and so many berries to try out the times even I would certainly never get together. ;-)
I wish you all a beautiful autumn weekend.
Angelika
